LET THEM AND FIND PEACE IN YOUR OWN PATH

Image
The Suffocating Feelings - Photo by Yan Krukau: https://www.pexels.com Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night, haunted by thoughts that just wouldn’t let you rest? That was me a few nights ago. Something was bothering me, something that had been lingering in my heart for the past week. No matter how much I tried to shake it off, it kept resurfacing, demanding my attention. When I traced back to the root of my discomfort, I found the source. The memories played fresh in my mind, as if they had just happened yesterday (even though, in reality, they were from years ago). And the trigger? A recent conversation with a friend who saw me as misguided and attempted to “bring me back” to what she believed was the right path. I regretted engaging in that conversation. I could have stayed silent or changed the topic, but instead, I challenged her viewpoint. I wanted her to realize that we were no longer on the same journey, so she would respect me and let me walk my path. But just as I...

TRANSFORM YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR BODY

Image
Love your body -  Photo by Andrea Piacquadio: https://www.pexels.com Have you ever thought of your body as your buddy? Not just a vessel that carries you through life, but a true companion; one that tirelessly works behind the scenes to keep you alive, healthy, and functional?  Well, to be honest, I used to think of my body as just a body, something impersonal and utilitarian. It existed for a purpose, sure, but it wasn’t something I saw as a being deserving my care, gratitude, or affection. In fact, for years, I just used it without thinking about its needs or even acknowledging its existence beyond what was necessary. But that perspective began to shift after attending a workshop where I was introduced to the idea of “thanking your body.” At first, the concept seemed absurd. Thank my legs, arms, lungs, and heart? What am I, crazy? But during the workshop, we were guided through a simple practice of gratitude for our bodies, and I decided to give it a try.  That n...

SORRY, I CHOOSE NOT TO ENGAGE WITH THE WAY YOU PRACTICE SELF-GROWTH

Image
People change and that’s our nature. I believe it’s totally okay to say, “Sorry, I choose not to engage with the way you practice self-growth.” If ever there’s one huge thing I’ve done and continuously practiced in my healing journey, that would be drawing boundaries. Sebagaimana saat kita berkendara di jalan, menjaga jarak aman menjadi kunci penting terhadap keselamatan kita, and so is the relationship we manage with other humans. Drawing boundaries is indeed a great milestone for me. Gue ingat seka...

MY BODY IS MY BUDDY

Image
Itu adalah agenda yang sangat penting, yaitu “me time” with my buddy which is my body. THE KIND OF STORY I MISS TO READ

Image
Do you have stories that you miss to read or listen? The kind of story that makes you feel so fulfilled. Coz I do. There is this kind of story that I miss to read or listen to.
