THE PARADOXICAL CONCEPT OF MANIFESTATION YOU NEED TO KNOW

Come to think of it, manifestation is the most paradoxical concept. I didn’t always see it this way, though. Just like many people, I used to think manifesting was about acquiring all your heart’s desires by working hand-in-hand with the Law of the Universe (or rather known as Law of Attraction).
Vision boards, positive affirmations, and scripting were my go-to tools as to how it was widely taught, and I genuinely believed they were the secret to bringing dreams into reality. But as I went deeper into the process, something surprising began to reveal itself. To gain, I realized, is to let go. Isn’t that funny?
At first glance, it sounds absurd. I mean, letting go? Isn’t manifestation about attracting things, not releasing them? But the deeper I dug, the clearer it became: to manifest, you have to release the self-limiting beliefs, the resistance, the fear, the past trauma, and the old narrative stories you’ve been telling yourself. Letting go of these blockages is far more important than any vision board session or affirmation recital.

Take self-limiting beliefs, for example. It’s not easy to admit, but so many of us are trapped in invisible mental prisons (which we might not realize). We unconsciously tell ourselves things like, “I’m not good enough,” “People like me don’t succeed,” or “It’s too late for me.” These beliefs aren’t just words—they’re chains. And every time we hold onto them, we make it harder for our desires to reach us. Letting go isn’t about forcing positivity; it’s about identifying these beliefs, understanding their roots, and then choosing to release their power over you.
Resistance is another major roadblock. We often want something so badly that we cling to the idea with desperation. Ironically, this desperate energy creates a kind of repelling force. It’s like grasping tightly onto water in your hands—the harder you squeeze, the more it slips away. Releasing resistance is about moving from scarcity (“I must have this or else”) to trust (“If it’s meant for me, it’ll come”).
But here’s the wildest part: as you work to let go of these blockages, something strange happens. The intense craving for your desires starts to fade. Now, don’t misunderstand me—it’s not that you stop wanting what you dreamed of. You’ll still enjoy the idea of having it, but the overwhelming need for it? Gone. The frantic energy? Dissolved. It’s not because you’ve given up. It’s because you’ve surrendered.

Surrender doesn’t mean you’ve stopped caring; it means you trust. Trust in divine timing. Trust that what’s meant for you won’t pass you by. Trust in the fact that the Universe—or God, or however you define it—knows better than you. And let’s be honest: we don’t always know what’s good for us. That dream job? Maybe it would’ve drained your spirit. That perfect partner? Perhaps they weren’t as perfect as they seemed. Surrendering is saying, “I’ve done my part; now I release the outcome.”
This shift is where the real magic happens. You’re no longer manifesting from a place of lack, but from abundance and ease. You become a magnet for possibilities. Opportunities flow in naturally, often in ways that are more incredible than you’d imagined.
So I guess, manifestation isn’t about obsessively chasing your dreams. It’s about aligning with them by letting go of everything that stands in the way. The process isn’t always glamorous or easy—it’s often deeply emotional and introspective. But in the end, it’s liberating. To let go is to gain, and to surrender is to set yourself free.
What about you? Have you ever had an experience where letting go actually helped you achieve something? Let’s talk in the comments—I’d love to hear your stories.
