ONE SIMPLE LESSON ABOUT A MASSIVE RED FLAG FROM A FORMER SECRET SERVICE AGENT

Beberapa hari lalu klip wawancara Lewis Howes dalam podcastnya School of Greatness muncul di TL gue. Di sana tampak former secret service agent Evy Poumpouras menjelaskan satu ciri red flag dari seseorang.

BOOM!! Saat mendengarnya, gue merasa seolah-olah kepala gue dipentokin ke tembok supaya bikin gue sadar. This is that one simple lesson about a massive red flag from a former secret service agent, Evy Poumpouras.

The circle of people around you matter,” kata Evy dengan percaya diri. I guess we all strongly agree with this statement.

Mungkin karena Evy terkesan begitu straight forward mengatakan, “You’re the bouncer at the door. You get to decide who comes in, how long they stay, and then you decide who you need to throw out.”

Kalimat itu kesannya seperti habis manis sepah dibuang. No wonder ekspresi Lewis sedemikian rupa. But I like to interpret it as how you put boundaries when you feel like you should do it.

This is that one simple lesson I learnt from a former secret service agent. She says, “If you have someone who has a lot of drama in their lives, that’s a massive red flags because their drama is going to become your drama.”

WOW!! I really don’t know what else to say. Thank you Evy for saying it out loud.

So, guys… I will say no more. Just let those sentences sink for a little while.
